Was this the place I thought I had arrived at? I am in Athens, the city of the gods, somewhere I do not know. “Look,” an image says to me, “what are you carrying within you?” I have become estranged from what I carry. My eyes want to see something more beautiful.

And that is where I see them. When I lift my head towards the sky, I encounter the selves that appeared there in 2022 and that still reveal themselves to me today in ever-changing forms. My feelings, meanwhile, remain somewhere in between. I and all my functions have formed a council of the gods; they are trying to work out how I might understand.

I, too, am walking towards a place I do not know. Like the thread Ariadne gave to Theseus, the images I encounter connect the path I have travelled. The thread left behind so as not to become lost in the labyrinth becomes, in my own journey, the trace left by dreams. I do not yet know where I am going; but when I look back, I can connect the fragments of the path.

The work consists of three different scenes from the same dream.
