Ink Drawings, AI-Assisted Animation, Sound

The animation was developed from 52 original scene compositions created by the artist. Environments were designed using Photoshop and AI-assisted techniques, while the characters and their individual poses were hand-drawn in ink. These drawings were digitally integrated into the compositions, which were subsequently brought into motion through AI-assisted animation.
Human beings are strange creatures. Like machines, yet alive, with a rhythm of their own. Being in constant motion can be even more exhausting than being chased.
I pass through doors. Each new place belongs to me, to a different period in the journey of the self. Sounds and music accompany each one. The fact that they are all connected to dreams seems strange to me afterwards, and begins to make sense. Whenever I catch hold of something that came before my conscious understanding of it, I am filled with exhilaration. Something inside me spills beyond myself. Like a surging sea.
One subject opens onto another. One thing keeps leading to the next. As I read the mythological stories before me, I enter the dark rooms of what we call the collective unconscious. Inanna’s story lies before me. Realising only afterwards that I had left something behind at every door is unsettling.
How many thresholds does it take to realise that those chasing me are my own shadows? In order to survive, I am forced to let go and to transform. And “That’s not easy!” This dream does not end until I turn and face those who chase me. It does not end until I accept that we inhabit the same body.
Then morning gives me another life. Just as it does every day. Does a new life cease to feel miraculous simply because it happens every day? I don’t know.
I could tell you so much more, but: “Oh no, I’ve said too much. I haven’t said enough.”
