The second work in the Aphrodite series introduces time into the image of idealized beauty. Sepia evokes nostalgia, aging, and the traces of the past, while the blue tones bring a sense of distance and melancholy to a figure historically imagined as eternally youthful.

Here, Aphrodite is no longer untouched by time. The work questions the possibility of permanence itself: in a world where bodies, ideals, and meanings inevitably change, even the image of divine beauty must confront transformation.
